Former professor at the University of Saint-Etienne (1976-1998) and at the Lumière Lyon 2 University (1998-2009). Co-founder of the Association "Critique du droit" (1977-1988). Founder and director (1984-1997) of the Center for Critical Investigations on Law (CERCRID), Univ. Saint-Etienne-Univ. Lyon 2 / National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS). President of the French Association of Labor Law and Social Security (2004-2009). Author and co-author of some books and studies on labor law, mainly European social law, and some studies of theory of law.
